Heya! I'm Xedite, or Xed for short.I am a programmer, self-taught hobbyist digital artist and writer, and indie game developer from the US who occasionally flits between other creative mediums.I specialize in creative writing, anime-styled pixel art, and sprite animation.

Terms of Service
Payment Options: I accept USD payments through Paypal and Ko.fi.
I may also accept Flight Rising gems, Neopets items, or art trades, ask me.Turnaround Time: My turnaround time can vary widely depending on my active available time to work on commissions, my current workload, and the complexity of a piece.Large pixel art can take me anywhere from several days to a month, while music and writing can take me 1 to 3 weeks.Drawn digital pieces can vary based on level of complexity. You can expect anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months for a completed piece. I will provide an estimate to you on acceptance of a commission.
Policies and Notes
1. Payment
I accept half payment upfront for any writing commissions, character themes, custom size pixel art after I have provided you a basic sketch. You have the option of paying me upfront in full if you so choose. I will ask for the rest of the payment before delivering the final work to you.For small sprites, I will accept full payment upfront once I have confirmed your slot.In the event I am unable to complete your commission, you will be refunded. I will change any part of a piece on request, free of charge.You may request a refund at any point before I have finished your piece. I do not accept refunds after I have delivered the completed piece to you and accepted full payment.2. References
For pixel and digital art, I require visual references when making any art. I do not work off of pure written description.For writing or theme commissions, I ask that you be clear in your requests when ordering and I will accept any descriptions or references that you are willing to provide that helps me with a piece.3. Waitlist and Queue
You will be put on a waitlist if I have too many pending commission requests at a certain time or my commissions are currently closed. I have 3 slots open of any type at any time when they are open.
If you are waitlisted, you will be contacted when I am ready to accept you to a slot.You can check the status of your commission at any point by contacting me or checking the queue. I try to keep this updated as much as I feasibly can.4. Communication
I will always update you on the progress of a piece and will show wips on request. Don't feel afraid to reach out to me.If I run into delays for any reason, you will be contacted and I will try to give you a reasonable, readjusted time frame of when you can expect your piece to be done.5. Additional Payment
Additional charges may be applied for multiple characters or complexity with pixel art.

I reserve the right to repost any commissioned pieces as examples of my work.You are free to repost your commissioned work where ever you'd like provided I am given credit.If you would prefer a commission to remain private or to remain anonymous, please mention this when ordering, thank you.8. Edits
Please do not edit my pixel art without first contacting me. I will make any edits you'd like free of charge.I will make any edits requested to a written piece (within reason) after it has been delivered.
You are free to make minor edits to a written pieces (correcting typos, rephrasing, omitting sentences, etc).You are free to edit any commissioned music tracks to your liking (remixes, etc), but do not claim them as your own. I will make edits to them upon request once they have been delivered.I cannot guarantee I will edit or save commission files past a year. Please save these pieces to your own personal devices.9. Commercial Use
Please do not use my pieces for commercial purposes without first contacting me to discuss. There may be additional costs applied.10. NSFW
For legal reasons, you must provide proof of your age when requesting any nsfw pieces. I will not draw or write explicit content for anyone under the age of 18.11. Acknowledgements

Due to the increasing environmental impact of blockchain technologies and large scale disregard, disrespect, and exploitation of the broad art community by those in favor of it, I, in good faith, cannot support such technologies at this time.
I do not use or support use of AI in any part of my creative processes.What this means is, that by commissioning me or viewing my works, you agree not to submit my work or designs to such sites or systems, or commission any other artists to produce generative or AI related artwork based on my designs.My work is not to be used with any blockchain or generative ai affiliated site or business and will be met with according legal action and demand for monetary compensation.13. AI/Generative Art Use

I have a phobia of entrails and visible organs, even stylized, and it would be difficult for me to complete pieces involving them.

I suffer from extreme migraine episodes and as these are triggers to my condition, I unfortunately have to refuse any characters related to these.
Character Theme/ DND Music Commissions
These are entirely experimental instrumental pieces done to practice composition and are in a general 'vgm' looping style.I do not play an instrument and all of my tracks are made with royalty free loops, samples, and free stock sounds composed through a mix of Soundtrap and FL Studio.Pieces are priced based on length starting at $20 per minute. I cannot compose tracks over 4 minutes due to my current hardware limitations.When requesting for a character, please provide me detailed information regarding them and any instruments, aesthetics, or specific genres you are seeking.These will be delivered via Discord mp3 link or by private Bandlab link.

I have aphantasia so my art style can vary somewhat day to day, but I try to keep things as consistent to the styles below as possible.
Custom Character Designs
Priced based on complexity, includes front reference by default. Starts at $15.Provide me a moodboard/aesthetics, palette/personality details if desired, and gender/species preferences.I normally do character designs in a flat color sketch sheet format but these can be cleaned up and finalized for an extra charge.I am okay with working with ai-generated "references" provided to me, but will not design a character based off a single ai image.
